Competition 3 – Terms & Conditions

Definition:

Where ‘competition’ is stated below, it is to have the same meaning as ‘giveaway’.

The promoter is FRMEFEST, in collaboration with Canon Australia.
This competition is solely sponsored by Canon Australia. 

Eligibility:

• The competition is open to residents worldwide, aged 18 years or over except employees of FRMEFEST and Canon Australia and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. 
• Participants must have purchased a FRMEFEST 2025 event ticket for entry on 19 and/or 20 July 2025. The ticket must be purchased within the period of 18 March to 23 June 2025.
• By entering this competition, participants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• Multiple entries from the same person are allowed.
• Multiple entries across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook) are allowed.

Rules of the Competition and How to Enter:

HOW TO WIN:

1. Comment “FF25” on the official competition post on Instagram or Facebook.
2. You will receive an automated DM with further entry instructions, which include:
   • Purchasing a FRMEFEST 2025 ticket via the official ticketing link – for 1 entry (mandatory).
   • Following @frmefest and @canonanz on Instagram – for extra 2 entries.

Conditions of Competition:

1. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice at their discretion. Any changes to the competition will be notified via social media.
2. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
3. The prize is as follows:
   • Canon EOS R50 V
   • Canon Spare LP-E17 battery
   • Canon HG100-TBR Tripod Grip with Bluetooth remote
   • Canon DM-E1D Directional Stereo Microphone
4. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
5. The winner will be chosen by random draw facilitated by FRMEFEST.
6. The winner will be notified by direct message on Facebook or Instagram, where possible and announced via a public post on FRMEFEST’s social media channels. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of notification or claim the prize on the day of the event, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
7. The winner must be available to attend FRMEFEST 2025 at Carriageworks Sydney on 19-20 July 2025 to collect their prize at the Canon Booth. If the winner is unable to attend, the prize may be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn.
8. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
10. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
11. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
12. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.
